Proof of work

We tried to make the actual shooting as equal as possible, we were let down by one of our actors who played the stalker on the day of shoot as they had tonsillitis, so I stepped in to save the shoot, grace and Rosie shot the shots when I was in the frame, when Rosie or grace had set the frame up we would all check it before we pressed record, this is so we could all agree that we liked it and make sure it was generally equal work, we shot 33.3% of the film each just so it was equal, in the day of shooting we were so preoccupied with completing the film that we didn't actually take photos of ourselves Using the camera so instead we made video diaries of ourselves on the actual shoots on location this was our proof of work. They can be viewed on the group blog

TUESDAY 5TH FEBRUARY

Today I have spent the lesson watching the film edit and seeing what sounds are needed for the foley, i used Soundbible.com for some of the sounds and then Youtube.com for others. I have got a variety of sounds thats will be useful and some that can be used depending on the final edit, The suspenseful song that i have found is of youtube.com and is copyright free, this song fits the film perfectly as it builds pace in tempo mimicking what is happening on screen.

G321 REPENT INDIVIDUAL EDIT

This is my individual edit, my group went out on Monday 28th January to a variety of locations in London, UK. We shot about 46 minutes of footage in that day so we knew we would have options for different scenes. Once we had the footage uploaded we split up and made individual edits, this way we could find the aspects of all three we liked and make one final film with sounds and a full foley. This version has been cu and colour graded to make it look more realistic and 'thriller-fied'. Once the final film is created i will post here to keep watching.

DEXTER RE-MAKE

This is mine and Abbies remake of the Dexter title sequence, this was to practice our cinematography skills, using rule of thirds, match on action, whilst also doing white balance, focusing and exposure, this really helped me as it was difficult to do as there were only two of us as the other two people in our group at the time dropped out on us so we haven't given them credit as it was me and abbey who filmed and edited this final version.

Group pie chart

This explains where i feel my group are at and how much work we have all put in, you can clearly see we are all even we have worked on every task together and contributed just as much.
