G321 REPENT INDIVIDUAL EDIT
This is my individual edit, my group went out on Monday 28th January to a variety of locations in London, UK. We shot about 46 minutes of footage in that day so we knew we would have options for different scenes. Once we had the footage uploaded we split up and made individual edits, this way we could find the aspects of all three we liked and make one final film with sounds and a full foley. This version has been cu and colour graded to make it look more realistic and 'thriller-fied'. Once the final film is created i will post here to keep watching.
B2 Use Elipsis to condense time entering the coffee bar and DO NOT use fast forward motion on the main characters walking in the street. There are lots of jump cuts on the phone call which break continuity and kill the suspense. From the end of the call you need a cut away to fill in the time to leaving starbucks - this doesn't make sense maybe use the London eye here. Cut the phone call down. The conversations are way too long and need cutting - they kill the drama.
Overall has clear and suspenseful storytelling, subtle Grading creates the appropriate Thriller look. To improve Where will your titles go? What foley do you need?
